電纜標志樁是埋設在天然氣高壓管線沿線以塑鋼玻璃鋼復合材質為主，涂有黃色標記的電纜走向標志樁，為起提示警示作用，標有“燃氣管道燃氣電話管線樁號管線走向電子巡檢信息鈕”，便于巡線搶修人員迅速找準管線位置，贏得搶修時機，根據《城鎮燃氣管理條例》第三十六條要求，擅自拆除和移動天然氣高壓管線上埋設的電纜標志樁屬于違法行為。
